The Center for Auto Safety and five other groups filed a lawsuit against the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on Monday for allowing used cars to be advertised as “certified” or safe despite being the target of an outstanding safety recall. The FTC reached an agreement in January 2016 with General Motors Co and two dealership companies, Jim Koons Management and Lithia Motors Inc , that allows them to advertise cars as “certified pre-owned vehicles” even though they might have an issue …

By Julia Love SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – Inside the original Macintosh computer, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs inscribed the signatures of his team, revealing his deep concern for even the hidden features of his products. The campus is something of an exception to the trend of radically open offices aimed at fostering collaboration, said Louise Mozingo, a professor and chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning at U.C. U.S. tech titans lead legal brief against Trump travel ban

The companies – including Apple Inc , Google Inc and Microsoft Corp – banded together late on Sunday to file a “friend-of-the-court” brief with the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco.
